I loved hearing Todd and Coach tonight talk about armchair (message board coaches). Todd asked a question about who was going to start on the offensive line and Coach said "well, Shawn Elliot is the one that watches them for every snap in practice. I am not one of those people that doesn't watch a guy in practice and then thinks he knows who should play. We have some of those around here, but I am not one of those people." To which Todd said "Yes, we do."

Then, later on he said, "Being a coach is about decisions. We have to decide who should play and who shouldn't play. We watch them every day in practice to try and decide who gives us the best chance to win. There are a lot of people that think they know who should play, but we have to make the decisions based on what we see. Other people don't even see them practice"

*I am paraphrasing a bit, but that is pretty close. Obviously, I thought it was awesome and I am glad he brought it up.
