Standout JC linebacker Durant to sign Tuesday with Rebels or Devils

LB Da’von Durant of Greenwood and Butler JC, KS plans to sign Tuesday at 1:00 PM with either Ole Miss or Arizona State. Durant confirmed his plans Monday night. Oregon was a third program he was considering.
There were rumblings Monday night that Durant’s first choice, USC, was going to get his signature. Durant committed to the Gamecocks last summer but decommitted in October and the two went their separate ways.
“That is false, I don’t know where they are getting that from,” Durant said of the USC rumors. “I haven’t talked to them in a long time. I’m signing Tuesday and it won’t be with South Carolina.”
Durant said he will be able to enroll in January at either Ole Miss or Arizona State.
