Steven isn’t the only player from the Rock Hill high school on the Gamecocks’ radar. Classmates Derion Kendrick and Eli Adams have also been offered by South Carolina. Kicker B.T. Potter is receiving interest.
Kendrick plays quarterback for South Pointe, but he’s being recruited as a wide receiver. Adams, a defensive end, profiles as a linebacker.
South Carolina coach Will Muschamp and assistant coaches Travaris Robinson, Mike Peterson and Ken Washington were spotted inside Williams-Brice on Saturday. Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott was also among the contingent of college coaches on hand.
