Not a shocker. Happened 1 day after Bobo offered him. Still a long way to go until next December.

 
This probably just sent an message to Beamer's staff or they already knew he was not coming snice BOBO  the clown left,   I think they just let an fire underneath Beamer one that they cannot put out now.   I would make calls still every time I could to the kid,   Auburn staff had this planned snice S.C. beat them to go get him for their QB . Things just got real again, that's why I  do  put not stock in kid's committing this early.

 
Not surprised by this either.  The kid is junior this year, correct?  Maybe we can flip him and if not, move on.

Dust your shoes move on. This kid is going to where ever Bobo is. Cool we all knew. Look at this way getting a fresh start all the way around. I am so glad Bobo is gone. To me in long run will be worth it.

Yes, a long way till then.  Let's see what we look like then before getting to worked up about it either way.  FWIW, the only name he mentioned in his statement was Connor Shaw.  Let's wait and see how this plays out.

It will come down to us and them IMO. And the next 11 months will be dog eat dog. In the end I try not to get too caught up in who *might* come here ... it will all come out in the wash.

 
Very seldom after a kid decommits ever recommits back to the same school. Does happen but rarely. I would not put much stock trying to change his mind. We all want players to play for South Carolina not a coach. Because why coaches always on the move build up there resumes.

Hope you right and he see the light. South Carolina would be a good place for him to be. I know I love it here and no other place I want to be.

Ordinarily I would be concerned, but I am interested to see who Shane gets for us in the portal.

Bobo was booed out of Ga, lost at CSU and at Carolina.  Who commits to somebody like that anyway?  Head scratcher to say the least.

 
Can't say I was shocked but yeah this news sucked. It's easy to recruit against us right now, because it feels like we have more people going out the door than coming in, and there are so many question marks . Even though this is disheartening, I'm looking forward to seeing what Beamer and his new staff can do. They have their work cut out for them.
