Low will be near 30 in Columbia next Saturday night vs App. St. Last night was cold too. Why do we play in late August and Sept in the heat of the day then turn around and play all are night games in the coldest part of fall?  Go figure.  :this-is-wrong-smiley-emoticon:

I feel ya, I don't make any trips to games after September anymore. But have a reference to some very cold night games at WB. The GA Dome and Mercedes Benz along with age has deterred me from attending many outdoor games in the cold. Hang in there.

Every year, lately, we get early games scheduled in September and many people complain. Then Ray talks to the SEC office and we end up with a bunch of November night games.

We should start complaining in August.

Or, go back to opening the season on Thursday night. At least we would have a least one night game.

Night games when it's chilly outside are actually better for us. Opponents come to Williams Brice to get Cold-Cocked.

I'll be attending the game this coming weekend and it will be the first time in 6 years I've been back.

Not looking forward to the coldest game of the year but it will be good to be back!

Does seem strange that people smart enough to run E$PN and others start Noon games in the heat and night games at7-730 & 8 in cooler weather. Seems a little bass-awkward but no one ask me. As for TV games if the schedules games are played on a particular Saturday the TV schedule balances either way. Sure some one might draw short straw.

All games are TV games. It dictates everything.

Gotta agree with everybody here.  Back in the 80s when we only had a few games televised a year,  we did play night games in August and September.  ESPN and not being highly ranked hurts us as far as getting those good time slots.
