Tanner warming up to idea of alcohol sales

At least in December 2018, more than 50 about one-third of all major universities allowed permitted beer sales at their football stadiums, which was up from less than a dozen 10 years ago.
The University of South Carolina is not one of those more than 50 schools allowing alcohol sales, and the school doesn’t have the ability to do so, at least to the general public.
Southeastern Conference rules prohibit the sale of alcohol to the general public at football games. Florida athletics director Scott Stricklin said at the SEC Meetings in Destin, Fla. last year he doesn’t see alcohol being opened up “anytime soon." (247 SPORTS-READ MORE)
