Alex Marshall
TE Alex Marshall 6'7" 238lbs of Andover, MA visited Clemson and USC last football season and remains on the board for both teams. He hopes to get back down to visit the schools this spring. He has offers from USC, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Connecticut, NC State, Rutgers, Nebraska, Kentucky, Temple, Maryland and Syracuse.
Marshall said he hears regularly from Clemson recruiter and tight ends coach Danny Pearman.
“He told me I’m one of their top guys, a top recruit, but they’ve only offered one tight end for the 2017 class. He’s saying they are in no rush. I have a lot of interest from tem and there’s a lot of interest on my part.”
As for USC, he’s hearing from recruiter Scott Spurrier.
“He wants to get me on the phone with Coach Muschamp when it’s convenient,” Marshall said. “They want to get me back to campus so I can hear what he has to say. They want to give me that new look at the program. I can’t wait to get back down.”
Marshall isn’t claiming any favorites at this point.
