Tennessee ekes out 56-55 victory over South Carolina



Gamecocks have chance to win it on last possession but fall short


John Fulkerson had 15 points and 10 rebounds and drew a game-clinching charge with 1.4 seconds left as Tennessee edged South Carolina 56-55 on Saturday.

USC played well on defense.  They rebounded pretty well.   Their problems were on offense.  Turnovers and missed shots.   It would not have taken much for this to be a win instead of a loss, but they just could not make it happen.    If they get tired of losing, maybe they will make more of their shots.  At the moment, I'm not hoping for any post-season tournament.   I'm just hoping to play better in the next game.
