Terry Googer picks the Gamecocks

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - On Friday, 4 star Terry Googer 6'4", 205 (College Park, Ga./Woodward Academy) committed to USC. Googer made the announcement during a ceremony at his school. He picked the Gamecocks over North Carolina, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Miami. "It was the perfect fit for me, location wise and academic wise, and they are headed in the right place," Googer said at his announcement. He made several visits to USC and earlier in the year pointed out why the Gamecocks were high up on his list. "It's real close to home and I have a good relationship with with coach Ward. Every time I come down he shows me a good time." Googer plays quarterback for his high school and last season passed for 1700 yards and rushed or 900 yards. He's the 13th commitment for USC's 2014 class.
