The best way to beat Alabama you ask?

Sept. 12, 2019

Going on 9 years sense South Carolina upended Alabama, was not easy back then where they were rank no 1 and will not be any easier Saturday where they stand at no 2. If anything will be harder. 9 years ago took a inspired defensive performance on the ground, an out of the world day from a quarterback, receiver and a freshman tailback grinding things out against a NFL-level defense. That 2010 team was a 7 1/2-point underdog. This one’s line is in the mid-20s. That Gamecocks team had a lot of NFL talent. This one hasn’t proven to have all that just yet. (VIEW ARTICLE)

I did some research. Every time Bama has lost a game, their opponents scored more points. I say we start there, and see how it goes.

:blue-glow-lol-emoticon:  Yeah. Who ever scores the most points wins. elementary my friend!! Thumps up to you.

Gotta get up early on them. Seems like that's almost always the case when they lose.

I don't see it happening without some points on special teams and/or turnovers.

Yeah we'll need to steal a score here and there. A punt or kickoff return for a TD, Pick 6, etc. It'll get the crowd going, and the players will start to feel the mojo.

We have nothing to lose ....they have everything to lose.  We can play loose....go deep make some big runs and get Willy B loud and out of control. They are already whining about hot weather.....wait til Saturday...I don't think cold weather is on the schedule.

Our D-Line has got to step up it's game and show Alabama that we can stop their run game as I look to see them try to dominate us early in the run game and just wear us down.  The same thing can be said about our O-Line as they too will need to play above their best levels and give our RB's and QB time to hit holes and make throws.  Our secondary will also be tested and we may get burned a couple of times, but hopefully we can hang around until the 4th quarter and make our move.  Kicking game and special teams have also got to play at an excellent level - all game long.  Tackling has got to be hard and sure and not hit and bounce off.

All of this being said, Alabama is a great team and we are playing uphill all day on Saturday, but we can do it with a lot of luck and outstanding play/coaching.
