Since these two guys are going to see the majority of the snaps this Spring, who are you looking forward to seeing the most? What are your expectations for each? Not only for this season but for the next 4 or so years.
Supposedly Brendan had a very strong finish to the season in terms of his development and is already up to 225lbs. Some of the fanbase, because they haven't really seen him, forget that he broke a couple of career records in Pennsylvania (a state known for some historic QBs). He kind of gets lost in the conversation because he didn't have the star rating and standout offer sheet coming out of high school.
Connor Mitch, maybe Coach Spurrier's most heralded QB since he has been here, starts classes today and the talk is that Coach Spurrier plans to play him the entire 2nd half of the Spring Game. He finished 2nd all time in NC (another state known for QB producing) career passing yards and I think he is 1st in touchdown passes. He threw for a boat load of yards and over 60 touchdowns this past season. He is expected to redshirt this season but the plan looks to be to throw as much at him as possible and see how he handles it.
Main reason for this thread is to get some attention off Dylan and Connor as we already know what we are getting with those two. Connor being out for Spring ball, and the unlikelihood that Dylan sees too much work himself means that we are going to be hearing a lot about these two freshmen in 2 months.
