USC won’t have to wait much longer to learn if its won the recruiting battle for 4 star 2016 QB Brandon McIlwain 6'0" 205lbs of Newtown, PA. McIlwain said Tuesday night he has made his decision and he will announce the choice on December 31st at a time and place to be determined. McIlwain had a final six of USC, Penn State, Florida, Auburn, Virginia Tech and Duke. McIlwain has not yet told the winning school.
“Thru the whole recruiting process, the school has been great to me,” McIlwain said. “I’ve got a very good relationship with the coaches and it’s a place where it feels like home.”
McIlwain visited all six of his finalists and did his due diligence to learn all he can about the schools. He believes he made an educated decision and his glad to have it behind him.
“It feels amazing, it’s such a relief,” McIlwain said. “I’m very happy with the decision that I’ve made. I’m kind of ready to get it going and start recruiting and helping out the school that I’m going to put together one of the top classes for my class.”
This season McIlwain passed for 2100 yards and 18 touchdowns and rushed for 1100 yards and 20 touchdowns.
