When Texas and Oklahoma join the conference.

  • How do you think the 2 divisions will be structured once this happens? Which teams will be in which division?
  • Are you in favor of keeping permanent cross division teams on the schedule?
  • What do you think about the pod system not divisions and which teams would you like to see in the Pod that contains the Gamecocks?
  • Adding Texas or Oklahoma will add to the over all strength already is the best in power 5. Thoughts?

It probably won't be like this. But they should do away with divisions.

9 conference games. Everyone has 3 permanent opponents to preserve some of the traditional rivalries. That leaves six games for the 12 remaining teams. Rotate around home-home series every 2 year. That means you play every team home-away at least every 4 years. Right now we barely play play most of the west teams.

Rank all teams top to bottom based on record. Then have the top 2 play for the title.

SC has nothing but better opportunities with SEC expansion. Our permanent cross division rival was competitive when it was Arkansas but since Texas A&M joined the conference and became our permanent rival the series has been poorly played and the 17 hour commute unpalatable. I look forward to playing a team that has at least some historic significance as well as regional advantages.

Longhorn football has sucked for a longtime and will continue to suck.

Venables has enough time to flop at OU as a head coach before the Sooners ever play a down in the SEC.

I seriously believe both OU and UT will get cold feet, renege on the agreement and back out of the deal to join the SEC.

The greed that is running rampant now may actually dissipate a good bit before the 2025 season.
