Three things I've discovered upon reviewing the video.
1. Clowney starts with a slight inside angle toward the QB. But just as he sees it will be a hand off, in a split second mind you, he is somehow able to adjust his angle square to the RB while still accelerating. He almost appeared to shape shift. If you examine the video evidence closely, you can see the molecules of his body loosen then rejoin at the point of impact.
2. Despite the amazing speed at which the entire event took place and ended, four or more USC defenders materialized on the scene before the play was officially blown dead, seemingly out of nowhere.
3. Finally, after the play, Clowney flips the ball toward the back of Reginald Bowens and it disappears in mid air.
I think the guy is some kind of pigskin wizard. Don't believe me? Watch and decide for yourself.
