The SEC Tuesday released the men’s pre-season basketball poll as voted on by regional and national media. Despite the enthusiasm around the USC team emanating from the corner of Greene and Lincoln Streets, the pollsters picked Frank Martin’s bunch to finish 10th in the league race. To the surprise of no one, for the ninth straight October Kentucky was selected to win the championship. Florida finished second in the voting and LSU third. No Gamecock was voted onto the 12 member All-SEC pre-season team.
