Florida plays Mizzou this weekend. The Vols play Vandy the same weekend we play Clemson. No SEC games left for UK.

Will Mizzou beat the Gators?  Who knows. Mizzou finishes their season off with the Razorbacks in Fayetteville in two weeks.  It's doubtful they will win that one.

We can still finish okay if we find a way to beat Auburn.  Beating Clemson after that would just be the icing on the cake.

While beating Auburn seems unlikely, we still have the inconsistency you see with a first-year rebuild.  Anything's possible and I believe Shane will have the team pumped-up for the last two games.

I believe we will still have a decent home crowd for the Auburn game to pump the team up and give us a shot at the win.

Box Nix is out the rest of the season, not sure if that matters much for our game Saturday.  We seem to make backup QBs look like Heisman candidates.  If play as poorly as we did against Mizzou, the next 2 games are loses.  Defense was bad Saturday.  Arm tackles and just looked flat.  OL could not block anyone.  Jason Brown was under pressure all game and our running game was non-existent because our OL could not open holes or block the pass rush.  I also noticed Jason Brown has this ineffective spin move when under pressure.  He puts himself out of position to throw the ball effectively and accurately.

Only the defenses of UGA and UK have allowed more points in the conference than our own.  Our defense has allowed fewer points than the other teams by a fair amount.

Most rebuilds start with the defense.

Stay focus.

The Vols play Vandy this Saturday.  Mizzou plays #21 Arkansas at Fayetteville.  Florida is done with conference play and plays FSU.

Even if the Vols and Mizzou lose, they still own the tiebreakers because they both beat us at their respective home fields.

I don't think anyone would have predicted us to be in a potential three-way tie for fourth or third at the end of the season.

Only 2nd-place UK has allowed more points than us.  The numbers suggest how we could have easily been a solid 4th-place team this season with more offense.

Stay focus on beating Clemson and see what happens.
