This will take courage and it will take heart

At face value, the video seems soft and laughable, but the losing seasons have most likely fractured the locker room and Shane is trying to keep the team together until he can make some changes in the offseason.  He will also have less to change if he gets the team to play better and win.

Most of the previous team supposedly loved Muschamp, too, but they couldn't buy a win.

I guess we're still a divided team right now despite the early wins.  Oh, well.

As far as love goes, here's what I know:

  • The Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers love kicking our ass any time they can.
  • The rest of the teams we play this season are going to love kicking our ass.
  • Paul Finebaum is going to love saying we're no good and will get destroyed each and every coming game week.

At some point, our guys need to man up and play better.  There has to be some pretty strong divisions in the locker room to put out a video like that.

Probably is some division in the locker room.  Hopefully this staff can bring the team together.  I think under Muschamp, players really played for themselves and not the team.  I think this staff is trying to change the mentality to a team one vs. a ME one.  That will take more than Spring and fall practice and 3 games IMO.  I hope these guys play for each other.  As corny as Dabo is, I think he has created a team environment.  I still hate him.

If there is division then we need to handle Kentucky.  Get as many guys reps as possible.  Playing time may just get them on board.  From what we see out of Beamer and his coaches I don't know what else they can do to build that team mentality.  If a player truly want to play for Carolina it should be obvious with their on field actions.

I like the video. I'm not trying to read anything in to it. I just think this coaching staff is all about a "team" mentality. I think it will be that way going forward.
