Below is from a high school coach's perspective
Several years back I posted after he signed with Carolina, that I thought Deebo was going to be a big time player for the Gamecocks. I had coached against him and he was special. Hell it was hard for kids to tag him in a 7 on 7. Then he beat us at the end of a game during the season with big time catch over 3 guys in the end zone with no time left. He wasn’t a big time recruit due to grades at the time but he had the “IT” factor.
I am not saying Sellers is the next Deebo but he is a special talent. He has the “IT” factor and make no mistake, he is a legit QB. For those saying he won’t make a dent in a talented QB room, I think you are sadly mistaken. He is not an athlete that was having to play QB at the high school level. He is a QB. He can sling it. I think this is a bigger pick up than a lot of people realize.
