LB Jaishawn Barham of Baltimore plans to announce his commitment Saturday at 3:00 PM. He’s choosing from USC, Oklahoma, Maryland and Penn State. He took official visits to all four with the USC visit taking place in September. He also made unofficial visits to USC and Penn State in June. USC defensive ends coach Mike Peterson has been the Gamecocks’ lead recruiter for Barham and has been up to see him the last two weeks. And according to 247Sports, Gamecock head coach Shane Beamer is scheduled to visit Barham Thursday, as is Maryland head coach Mike Locksley. Penn State head coach James Franklin was in for his visit last week.
Gamecock target WR Camden Brown of Fort Lauderdale had his in-home visit with Pitt Wednesday night. He was once committed to the Panthers. He plans to visit Georgia this weekend and plans to sign next Wednesday.
Gamecock target 2023 DT Keith Sampson of New Bern, NC was offered by Kentucky.
Gamecock offered 2024 WR Keylen Adams of Virginia Beach.
Gamecock offered 2024 CB Braydon Lee of Washington, DC.
Gamecock offered 2025 ATH Anthony Sacca of Philadelphia.
WR Jayden Gibson, who was a Gamecock target, decommitted from Florida.
