2018 DE Xavier Thomas of Wilson says he has no current favorites and is open. He doesn’t plan to name a top three until his senior season. Some of his early offers are Clemson, USC, Florida State and North Carolina.
USC recruiter Bobby Bentley visited Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, GA Wednesday and offered Arkansas commitment WR Kiel Pollard (6-1 228) according to GamecockCentral. This season he has 70 catches and 18 touchdowns.
WR Dre Massey of Holmes JC, MS and Mauldin said Wednesday night he was contacted earlier in the day by USC recruiter Bobby Bentley. Massey, who is committed to Florida, said he’s expecting to hear more from the Gamecocks’ new staff. “They’ll be on me pretty hard these next few days.” Massey said he does expect to meet with Gamecock coaches later this week or this weekend when he returns to his home in the Upstate.
