Transfer SAF Devonni Reed confirmed this afternoon he is in Columbia and is taking an official visit to the Gamecocks over the next couple of days. . Hale McGranahan of TheBigSpur first wrote the news of the visit this morning. Though it’s a dead period, transfers can take officials if they go thru orientation at the school they are visiting. Reed has also picked up offers from Coastal Carolina, Mississippi State, Louisville, Texas, Wisconsin and Virginia Tech among others since entering the portal.
