Tuesday morning recruiting notes
Oct. 20, 2015
WR Dre Massey of Holmes JC has been getting strong interest from USC the last few weeks. He was expecting recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. to visit
Monday. When asked for details, Massey said his coaches have asked him to refrain from doing much with recruiting this week because of their upcoming homecoming game against Northeast Mississippi JC. “They are making me focus on this last game,” Massey said. “I’ve got news from South Carolina and others. I’ve been told to finish this last game then tell the media all my offers and interests, which is a lot these past weeks. Just one more week.” It’s possible that news from USC is an offer.
2017 TE Logan Rudolph of Northwestern made an unofficial visit to Michigan Saturday for the Michigan State game. His offers include Michigan, Kentucky, Oklahoma State, North Carolina and Duke. “I’m wide open to anyone at this point,’ he said. “I’m hearing a lot from Clemson. They are pretty interested and stay in contact with me regularly. And I plan on visiting Clemson and a number of othe schools this fall. I haven’t heard much from USC.”
2016 LB Plevon Pryor of Baltimore Dunbar visited USC Saturday.
USC target, Florida commit LB Vosean Joseph of Miami, set officials with West Virginia and Syracuse.
