RB AJ Turner of Centreville, VA planned to announce his college decision Tuesday night from The Opening on ESPNU. But shortly before the 8:00 PM broadcast began, Turner was rescheduled by ESPN for a Thursday night announcement. He actually was originally scheduled for Thursday night, then was moved to the Tuesday night slot before being shifted back to Thursday night. Turner is down to USC, Clemson, Virginia, Ohio State and Michigan State.
RB Jordan Scarlett of Fort Lauderdale announced from The Opening on Tuesday night a commitment to Miami over USC. Scarlett had been committed to Florida Atlantic since last December. The Gamecocks made a strong recruiting run at Scarlett but he never made a visit.
OL Zack Bailey of Summerville announced Tuesday his top three. In no order, Bailey said his three are USC, Clemson and Georgia. He has been to USC and Clemson and will visit Georgia later this summer. He will make his decision before the season.
2015 Luella, GA 7-0 center Doral Moore has trimmed his list to Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida, Wake Forest, and Illinois. USC also was an offer for him….former teammate with USC freshman Temarcus Blanton.
