Two former South Carolina assistant coaches are joining the national runners-up. Travaris Robinson will be the next Alabama defensive backs coach, according to reports Wednesday evening, while Coleman Hutzler will join Nick Saban’s staff in some capacity.

From a personal standpoint probably no better place to get experience than at Bama

Nick Saban knows how to hire good assistant coaches.  His program gets raided every year, and they simply reload with coaches that stay a couple of years and then move on.  We have also seen how Coach Beamer has changed things at Carolina in one year.  We are suddenly pulling in players in recruiting, and from the portal, that we had no shot at before. Both of these statements beg this question; what the heck were Muschamp and company doing over the last several years?

Don't know, but I guarantee Saban is not going to have TRob line up the DB's 15 yards off of the opponent's receivers each play.
