Max Huggins of Myrtle Beach, a North-South game participant, will be one of those walk-ons. He had an offer from Presbyterian. Clemson also showed interest as a walk-on.
Huggins booted a 57 yard field goal in a game. This season Huggins was 13-17 on field goals and 43-49 on extra points. Huggins also averaged nearly 40 yards per punt.
Joining him will be Elliott Fry, rated the No. 8 kicker and No. 15 punter by Chris Sailer Kicking. Fry is from Prince of Peace Christian School in Plano, Texas.
According to the website for the Chris Sailer Kicking School, Fry of Carrollton, Texas, is a 5-star kicking prospect which equates to a Division One prospect.
