Dec. 30, 2015
North Carolina commit Korey Banks picked up two SEC offers this week, from Alabama and South Carolina, and now he’ll visit both schools in January.
Banks, a 3-star wide receiver from Sandy Creek High School (Tyrone, Ga.), told SEC Country that he has scheduled an official visit to Alabama on Jan. 22 and South Carolina on Jan. 29. He will officially visit UNC on Jan. 15.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder said he had a chance to speak with Alabama wide receivers coach Billy Napier on Sunday, and he had good things to say about the conversation.
“He was saying he wants me at Alabama,” Banks said. “He loves my tape.”
When asked if Alabama is a place he could see himself playing at Banks responded, “I mean, we’ll see on Feb. 3!” For those that don’t know, Feb. 3 is National Signing Day.
Banks is rated as the nation’s No. 119 wide receiver and No. 76 prospect in the state of Georgia.
