USC baseball adds two for 2014

The USC baseball team has added two more commitments for the 2014 class giving the Gamecocks 16 pledges who can sign starting November 13th. Over the weekend LHP Banks Cromer (6-3 150) of AC Flora announced his commitment via Twitter. Cromer is the son of former Gamecock star Tripp Cromer and is the third member of the 3A state champion Falcons to commit to USC for 2014. And late last month 1B Collin Steagall (6-1 240) of Spartanburg Methodist committed to the Gamecocks. He's a former standout at Lexington and grew up a Clemson fan. Last season in 50 games for the Pioneers, the lefthanded hitting Steagall hit .313 with 1 one home runs and 32 RBI. He struck out 19 times and walked 19 times in 147 at bats. In the field, Steagall committed 3 errors and had a .993 fielding percentage
