USC & Clemson offer 14 year old WR/SAF Bryan Edwards
12/19/12
Conway coach Chuck Jordan said Tuesday USC and Clemson have made verbal offers to 9th grade WR/SAF Bryan Edwards (6-3 179). USC made the first offer and Clemson followed in kind. Edwards played this season as a 13 year old as he turned 14 in November. Jordan said he just sent out film to USC and Clemson and told the recruiters to take a look. "They liked him," Jordan said. "He's very gifted. He's outstanding adjusting to the ball in the air. He has a knack of getting the ball out of the air." Edwards also plays basketball and runs track. Jordan said more offers will come in as more schools get the film. Jordan also said that according to his senior Shrine Bowl ATH Mykal Moody, USC and Clemson are telling him he is a take for them if he qualifies. Jordain said his other Shrine Bowler, WR Malcolm Green, will attend a junior college next season.
