6-7 Danuel House Jr. begins his second recruiting stint Thursday with a visit to USC. He will be joined on the visit by his parents and will be in Columbia until Tuesday.
House is transferring from the University of Houston and is one of the top players available thru the transfer route. He was one of the nation’s top high school prospects three years ago. Two years ago he was the freshman of the year in Conference USA. And last season he was his team’s second leading scorer at over 13 points per game.
House also plans to visit UCLA, UNLV, Iowa and possibly one other schools. USC was one of the first schools to reach out to him once he decided to transfer. Gamecock coach Frank Martin recruited House when he was at Kansas State and also when he made the move to USC.
House said he plans to appeal to the NCAA for immediate eligibility once he decides on his new school
