USC holds lead for DL Abu Lamin after another visit

4 star DL Abu Lamin 6'3" 320lbs of Fort Scott JC, KS made an official visit to Nebraska Thursday thru Saturday, and he picked up an offer from Alabama Saturday. Yet, Lamin said Saturday night USC remains his clear favorite. "South Carolina is still my favorite," Lamin said. "I just got off the phone with coach Spurrier and coach Adams and coach Ward. South Carolina is still my number one. My number one team right now is South Carolina still. Number two probably would be Alabama. Number three would have to Arkansas. Number four would have to be Nebraska." Lamin said the Gamecock coaches called to see where things stood with him after the day's developments. "They had seen and heard I got offered by 'Bama and telling everything and if I still feel good about them, and I do," Lamin said. "I talked to coach Spurrier and he knows how a player would feel. "Bama has just won a national championship, the best in the country. If they are trying to offer you, that's something great. I'm happy for it but just because they've offered me doesn't mean anything. South Carolina is still real strong on me, they still like me, they still like my talent and what I can bring to the table. They like what me and South Carolina can do in the future." Lamin said he hopes to take an official visit to Alabama before his season and he wants to make his decision before his first game which is August 24th.
