USC is one of the favorites, perhaps the favorite, for Sindarious Thornwell of Oak Hill Academy, VA. The Gamecocks also are in the mix, though not as strongly for Thornwell's teammate 6-6 Troy Williams. Oak Hill coach Steve Smith said Williams is focused on the Gamecocks, LSU, Arkansas, North Carolina, Ohio State, Indiana and Alabama with the Hoosiers, Buckeyes and Tar Heels the strongest with him right now.
