USC keeping in touch with Georgia defensive back Micah Abernathy

4 star DB Micah Abernathy 6'1" 181lbs of Norcross, GA remains interested in USC and hinted that the Gamecocks could be among his top schools. “I don’t have a list of top schools but I will say I am definitely interested in South Carolina.”
Abernathy has built a solid relationship with USC recruiter GA Mangus. “Coach Mangus is a really cool guy,” he said. “I don’t have plans to visit this summer, but that could change pretty easily.”
He explained that USC is an easy destination for a trip and that little planning is needed.
Friday will see Abernathy visit Georgia. He named Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State as other schools he would like to visit this summer.
“I want to take a look at some schools outside of the SEC,” he said. “It’s a lot easier to visit those schools when I’m out of school.” Abernathy said a visit to USC will occur but he’s not sure when. He does not have a favorite.
