USC linebacker commitment sets his official visit date

3 star LB Jalen Henry 6'1" 200lbs of Foley, AL has been committed to USC since June. He hasn’t been back to the school since his unofficial visit that month. He will be back in November. Henry has scheduled his official visit for November 21st when the Gamecocks play their final home game of the season against South Alabama.
Henry said he remains fully committed to USC and at this point doesn’t plan to visit elsewhere. He was contacted by Louisville a couple of weeks ago about a visit but has not scheduled anything.
Henry was in touch with USC recruiter and linebackers coach Kirk Botkin last week. He’s well aware of the Gamecocks’ less than stellar season thus far but that hasn’t affected his opinion of them.
“No, it doesn’t affect my thinking,” he said. “Every team starts out strong or weak.”
Henry said he’s having a good season for his 5-2 team highlighted by one game of 16 tackles
