USC is one of a number of major programs that checked out Stratford junior QB Jacob Park (6-4 209) according to coach Ray Stackley. North Carolina, NC State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee also expressed interest in Park who passed for 1276 yards and 7 touchdowns and rushed for 381 yards and 7 touchdowns last season. As a ninth grader, Park passsed for 1404 yards and 12 touchdowns. Park will make it to between three and five camps this summer with USC, Auburn, Tennessee and Notre Dame possible. USC is very interested according to Stackley. "He has a tremendous arm and can make all the thows," South Carolina's Shrine Bowl coach said. "He also runs well. He has good feet."
