South Carolina is headed west to Baton Rouge later today to take on LSU on Saturday at 1 p.m. (ET). Courtney Lyle (pxp) and Carolyn Peck (analyst) will be on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.
The Gamecocks are seeking their first win at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center since an 88-63 win during the team’s historic Final Four season. The 25-point win is the second largest ever on the road in league play. Carolina has won just twice in Baton Rouge since 2013.
The Tigers won their opening game of the conference slate vs. Arkansas, 60-57, back on Dec. 28, 2022. They have since lost 13-straight, including 12 league games.
