South Carolina welcomes in one of the best teams in the country for a late-night, 9 p.m. (ET) tip on Wednesday as No. 2/2 Alabama comes to town. Mike Morgan (pxp) and Seth Greenberg (analyst) will be on the call for the ESPN2 broadcast.

The Crimson Tide have lost just once in league play after a 12-0 start.

Carolina is seeking its first win over a top-five team since defeating No. 1/1 Kentucky, 68-62, on Jan. 26, 2010. The Gamecocks are also looking to snap a six-game losing streak to the Crimson Tide that dates back to the four-overtime game at CLA in 2017.

Official CLA attendance for the 65-63 loss to the Hogs was 11,558 and 9,129 for the MSST loss before that one.

The lower bowl looks like it will essentially be full for tonight's game and the UGA game on March 4th.

The home crowd likes Lamont and the team and are used to supporting them towards the end of the season in recent years.

Still on the fence about going to tonight's game.

This should have been the game, but then Lamont subs BBV in to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I thought about going to the game, but stuff like this that's gone on all season changed my mind later in the day. I just didn't feel like driving down lonely country backroads around midnight if the team can't get it done anymore.

BBV is a law school grad transfer. He better be a good lawyer because he's just not a P5 D1 basketball player.

We just don't know how to put a complete game together anymore.
 
I've looked at the box score a few times today and the thing that keeps jumping out to me is the free throw discrepancy. They had almost twice as many attempts that we had, but I didn't see much difference in the physicality between the 2 teams. We got hosed on a couple of calls that gave Bama free throws, then didn't get the same call when we're on offense. Where's Patrick Beverley with the camera when you need him?
