South Carolina hits the road for the final time this season with another late 9 p.m. (ET) tip at Mississippi State on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs are fresh off a victory over No. 25/25 Texas A&M on Saturday at Humphrey Coliseum.

Mike Morgan (pxp) and Ron Slay have the call for the SEC Network broadcast tomorrow evening.

The Gamecocks are seeking the team’s fourth SEC road win this season which would give head coach Lamont Paris the most SEC road victories by a first-year coach in program history.

The Bulldogs have won nine of the last 12 in the series, including five-straight on their home floor dating back to 2018. Carolina’s last win in Starkvegas at The Hump came on Feb. 11, 2017 during the team’s historic Final Four season, 77-73. Carolina was ranked No. 19/16 at the time and the victory kept the team tied for first in SEC play with No. 12/15 Kentucky. All-American Sindarius Thornwell scored 28 points and dished our four assists to lead the Gamecocks.

We didn't have Chico in the line-up last night, either. That didn't help.

The Gamecocks (10-20, 3-14 SEC) return to Colonial Life Arena for the regular season finale against Georgia (16-14, 6-11 SEC) on Saturday. It’s a 1 p.m. tip with Mike Morgan (pxp) and Joe Kleine (analyst) on the call. It’s Senior Day and the team will honor graduate transfer Hayden Brown pregame.

The next game is the Senior Day game against UGA. There is always a good turnout for the UGA game most years and it's on a Saturday, too, so I expect a large crowd at the CLA on Saturday despite the really bad season.

Official attendance was 11,558 for the last home game with Arkansas despite the bad season.

Should be a good crowd Saturday.

He’s got a very nice outside shot, and reads the floor well for passing. A few inches too short to be a great guard for us, but good tenacious defense and GREAT (as you said) outside stroke.

Ford Cooper ain’t bad either, and plays “D” like He wants your lunch money.

The walk on’s have played an important role this season.

I think there's some upside for next year without a doubt.

We also have a head coach who has to figure out how to consistently compete and win in a much tougher league than the one he came from, too.

CLA attendance actually has gone up despite the season getting worse and I think that means something as well.
