Recovering from surgery, so I hope I make sense (and am watching the same game as everybody else), but like what I see so far.

balanced scoring 6 Gamecocks with at least 3 and no more than 4. Steady defense and not too many fouls.

if we can get Minaya in sync with his teammates, I think we’re ok.  Gotta have someone to stop DJ Stewart.

Need some more d in the game.  The three guards aren’t giving us points and aren’t able to play on the ball down low.  Hurting us more than it’s helping.

Hopefully we come out in the 2nd half with better effort than this - our bigs Leveque, McCreary, Minaya got into foul trouble early and we were dominated in rebounding. And our guards Lawson, Bryant, Couisnard have combined for few points.....

They just cannot string any good efforts together back to back. They'll have a strong game on the road, and then follow it up with a weak effort at home. Florida is a better SEC team than Miss St. this season too. They won't be a good team until they can go on some runs through the schedule....

Well we opened the 2nd half strong - was 7-8 in FGs right off. Then it went 100 degrees below zero, and we went 2-17 right after. At one point we had as many turnovers in the 2nd half as we had made FGs. That's always a recipe for disaster. Back to the drawing board: this may mean that we'll have another strong effort in our next game, but I somehow doubt it.....

MSU dominated us defensively.   Our guys couldn't get open shots and missed those they got.  MSU has too much size for USC.   I don't believe playing Minaya, NElson and Anderson in the post is a winning formula.  Stewart killed us.  We couldn't guard him.   Just overall a  bad matchup for us.

I fell for it (again) after the UF game only to be kicked in the nuts (again) for the MSU game.  Oh well...

This team is so frustrating. Barring a surprising SEC Tournament run, this season is pretty much toast.

How many shots did we heave up from way outside the 3-point arc.   Every time we got a good run going someone would just shoot a loooong shot and miss.   I don’t understand that mentality Minaya looks very uncomfortable with the ball in his hands as well.  Not really looking forward his shot.

I love me some Keyshawn Bryant but the longest shot he should ever take is from the free throw line.   Minaya is simply not a scoring threat.  If I was the opposing team scouting us I'd let him take as many open 3's as he wants to take.  Moss is a total waste of a scholarship.  Hannibal sometimes plays a little out of control but at least he can score, I'd like to see his minutes increase.

Martin is the Muschamp of basketball. He had one good year, and has done less with more since then.
