South Carolina (8-12, 1-6 SEC) remains on the road Saturday at Georgia (13-7, 3-4 SEC). The Gamecocks and Bulldogs both enter the game hungry for a victory. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. (ET) on SEC Network. Dave Neal (pxp) and Joe Kleine (analyst) will be on the call for the broadcast.

Carolina has won 12-straight in the series dating back to a 67-61 win on Jan. 4, 2017 in Stegeman Coliseum to start conference play in the team’s historic Final Four season. It’s the longest win streak in the series on either side.

Georgia’s last win came on March 11, 2016 in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament. JJ Frazier made two late free throws in the final seconds to seal a 65-64 victory.

We really need a win today.

We beat Clemson and UK. The UGA rivalry always draws a crowd. A win today at Stegman would be great!!

Actually playing strong defense without fouling so far in the early 1st half. Keep that up, we get some good points off pushing the ball post-defensive rebound.

Stegman was sold out last night. A win would have been nice.

Not a bad loss, either, except for all the other ones that have come before it this season.

Will Lamont and the team go into the tank the rest of way or will they keep fighting?

I can see our inbound and outbound portal traffic in the off-season being substantial.
