South Carolina hits the road again for a pair of games this week. The Gamecocks travel to the other Columbia for a late 9 p.m. (ET) tip tomorrow night against Missouri.

Richard Cross (pxp) and Jon Sundvold (analyst) will have the call for the SEC Network broadcast.

This one stings for me. We played that one like it was drawn up (in my mind). Was within grasp for us. Hate it for the ‘Cocks.

The late tip-off was too much for me after a long day in the office, so I didn't follow the game.

Box score:

MIZ

Both teams pretty much scored the same amount of points in each half.

Turnovers and points off of turnovers did us in.

The team seems to be playing more competitive, but just can't put a complete game together for some much-needed wins.

The one thing Lamont has said consistently this season is "these guys don't normally make a lot of 3s, but they were good tonight." That means we're missing our defensive rotations and giving teams too many clean looks on the perimeter, too.

Multiple guys getting hot from the perimeter was always the kryptonite to Frank's system and that's playing out now.

Although GG got most of the attention before the regular season, Meechie is just a Sophomore and his potential was the other conversation that happened.

Losing Dibba for the season had it's effect, since Lamont was probably counting on his experience to carry the team a good bit until the younger players got up to speed.

The Mizzou team would be hard to defend from 3 point land, regardless. They are one of the hottest shooting teams in our league right now, and we played them REALLY well overall. Nothing for the guys to hang their heads over.

I thought we left big Josh on the bench for too long, the Davis, Johnson, Brown, Jackson with big Josh is by far our best defensive grouping and we did not see this line up but for maybe 5 minutes...
