South Carolina (8-3, 0-0 SEC) plays host to Army (6-5, 0-0 Patriot League) on Wednesday at 3 p.m. (ET). It marks just the second meeting all-time between the two schools and is the first matchup since the quarterfinals of the 1969 NIT at Madison Square Garden. It's a "Salute The Troops" game for the Gamecocks as the team plans to honor the military in a variety of ways. Different promotional offers and special ticket packages are available.

USC 35-28 7:03 1st

Devin Carter is back in the line-up and has 5 points.  Leveque, Gray, and Reese are still out.

Stevenson and Chico Carter both have 11 points each.  A good sign.

We were down 20-13 at the first media time-out, but have bounced back nicely.

LAST MEETING: 59-45, Army win on March 18, 1969 in NIT Quarterfinals at Madison Square Garden

Coach K was a player and captain of the team in that game against McGuire's Gamecocks.

Great way to start the Christmas break!.   I really enjoyed watching the game.  Very happy with how we shot the ball.   We had some excellent defensive moments too.    Can't wait to get everyone back and playing together.   I can't remember when USC had so much depth.
