USC recruiter Kirk Botkin met with DE Tega Wanogho Jr. of Elmore, AL this afternoon and the two talked about Wanogho taking an official visit to USC on January 23rd. Wanogho has set an official visit to LSU for this coming weekend. Tennessee and Alabama were also at the school today and tonight he will see Auburn and Tennessee. Oregon, Florida and Georgia are also getting involved and more schools are on the way in to see him tomorrow before he leaves on his visit. North Carolina, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are also trying to get in. But USC appears to be in pretty decent shape with him at this point. Steve Spurrier is planning to meet with him next week.

Georgia met at school and at home today with Shrine Bowl DL Eurndraus Bryant of Fort Dorchester. Georgia did not offer during the meetings but Bryant said he hopes to hear something from the Bulldogs over the weekend. He set an official visit to Georgia for January 30th. He is going to Georgia Southern on January 23rd. He is not taking a visit this weekend because of the SAT.

USC coaches Spurrier, Steve Spurrier Jr., Shawn Elliott and Everette Sands also were at Fort Dorchester today but the Gamecocks are not recruiting Bryant. They were there to check on junior OL John Simpson and freshman ATH Dakerion Joyner. USC has offered both. Simpson also has offers from Clemson, Georgia, Wake Forest and Maryland.
