3 star Jordan Giberti TE3'3 225lbs of Gainesville, FL was offered last year by USC and visited for the junior day in late January. Since then, the Gamecocks have been at the front of his list. Four months later nothing has changed between Giberti and the Gamecocks.

“Me and Coach Spurrier Jr. are just talking and he’s supposed to come down to Gainesville to watch me practice,” Giberti said. “You can tell they want me. You can definitely tell they have deep interest and it goes vice versa, too. South Carolina being that program in the SEC I have to take them seriously. They are definitely one of my top candidates.”

Giberti has four other offers from Army, Georgia Southern, Utah and Ohio and he said Army would be the second school on his list right now but he’s still considering the other offering schools as well.

This spring Giberti has visited Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern and he plans to visit USC again this summer and again in the fall for a game.

Giberti is angling towards a decision later this spring or maybe early summer.

“Spring is a major time where coaches comes to your school and that’s when a majority of kids get their offers,” he said. “I’d like to wait until spring is over with and if anyone comes along take them in and evaluate them.”

Giberti said he’s expecting coaches from all the offering schools to come by this month to check him out in spring practice.
