USC is targeting OL [COLOR= rgb(178, 34, 34)]Branton Autry [/COLOR]6'5" 320lbs of Coffeyville JC, KS for the 2016 class and stands in good shape with him at this point. Autry has been in regular contact with Gamecock offensive line coach Shawn Elliott and is expecting Elliott to visit him this week.
“He really wants me to come out there,” Autry said. “He sees me playing left guard on the offensive line and coming in and playing next year. He’s recruiting me pretty hard.”
Autry said that when he gets around to lining up his official visits, USC will get one.
He also has offers from Arizona State, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Arkansas State, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Louisville and Iowa State. Arizona State has been the only school to visit him thus far.
Autry said he doesn’t have a favorites’ list at this point and he’s looking to make a decision this summer, possibly in July.
