4 star Junior RB Elijah Hood (6-1 210) of Charlotte is one of the better prospects in the Carolinas for 2014. The problem is deciding which position he will play in college. He's also a standout linebacker. “I feel linebacker could be my better position for college but it doesn't matter,” Hood said. “The schools aren't sure which position they like me for.” USC and Clemson are two of his early offers and he's visited both, USC multiple times. “USC is up there on my list,” he said. “It's a good program, a good school. The staff seems pretty genuine. I can see them doing big things. It's the same thing for Clemson. It looks like an exciting football team.” Hood also has offers from North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, East Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Virginia. Ohio State is also showing interest. He said USC, Clemson, North Carolina and Ohio State are recruiting him the hardest right now. He plans to make his decision around the end of the school year or next summer. He has no preference on a conference and has no qualms about leaving the state. He does not have favorites. “I don't know who is really interested in me yet, though USC and Clemson are really interested. “ Last season Hood rushed for 1982 yards and 35 touchdowns.link: http://www.goupstate...9812/-1/PSPORTS
