Misery gets curb stomped. Some of our folk are NOW predicting 6-7 total wins. I don't get it! After Saturday I say at least 7 more wins. A&M showed nothing against Clem. 7 more wins! Here it comes!!! 8 win season (before Bowl)!!

I don’t see us losing to Missouri. I don’t see many teams on our schedule that we can’t beat, with the offense as it is now.

Unless we find a defense, this game will be much closer than it really should be. Now that the offense has cleared itself of Bentley and has a Quarterback that can move the football, we at least have the ability to win some shootouts against teams equal to our own level of play. Our defense is lousy. No need to try and talk it into a being good. We have no aggression from the front line players, we have a secondary that is way to soft and lacking in tackling and run support. If Missouri has even an average passing attack, we'll have to score at least 35-38 points to counter the 35+ our defense is going to allow them from their lack of ability to make stops and force punts. If Missouri's defensive coordinator is a good schemer and can come up with a way to slow down or stop Hilinski and the offense, this could end up being another game similar to the North Carolina game. Our Defense better show up for the first time since early last year, or that 10 point spread might be accurate and could end up being a conservative margin of victory.
Great comments. I might add, find a red zone offense. We have to score TDs, not just FGs.
OCs have to recognize that short field changes everything and your red zone offense has to account. I love those TE drag routes in the RZ. I also like running some option.

Miz boat raced West Virginia. If our secondary does not improve we could be in for a long day. They have a T E that we will struggle to contain. If we can solve our red zone issues we should be able to score. Run game will be key.
