3 star RB Jonathan Vickers 5'11" 212lbs of Jacksonville, FL has offers from Clemson, Florida State, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Alabama, NC State, Ole Miss, Louisville, Indiana, Notre Dame, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Wisconsin and Wake Forest among others. Vickers has not heard from Clemson lately and believes that due to commitments the Tigers have already received, Clemson is no longer involved with him. "They've already got some running backs committed so I don't really see anything happening there," said Vickers. Though the Gamecocks have not yet offered, he does remain interested in USC. "I visited them and it caught my eye," he said. "I liked the campus and the atmosphere around there. I went into a film meeting and it was pretty cool. I also got to speak to the head coach (Steve Spurrier) and he seemed real cool. I am very interested in South Carolina." Vickers plans to narrow his list within the next two weeks. "As soon as I figure out which schools I like the most, I'll start narrowing my list and those are the schools I'll probably visit this summer," said Vickers. He does not have a leader.
