VISTORS LIST: 5-star RB from North Carolina added to loaded guest listSept. 16, 2916
Zamir White, the No. 1 running back in the Class of 2018, isn’t the only Scotland County High School running back on the Power 5 recruiting radar. The high school in Laurinburg, N.C., also features 2019 prospect Syheam McQueen, who’s listed at 6-foot, 185 pounds.
Both are expected to be in Columbia on Saturday for South Carolina’s home opener against East Carolina.
They join a guest list that already features 5-star DE Xavier Thomas. Also added to SEC Country’s list of confirmed guests is 4-star DE K.J. Henry.
Thomas, the No. 2 overall player in the Class of 2018, will make the short ride from Florence, S.C. Henry, who’s the No. 2 weak-side defensive end in 2018, is from West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, N.C.
Between Thomas, White and Henry, South Carolina will host three of the country’s top 25 2018 prospects for the first home game of the season.
Not too shabby for the Gamecocks, whose 2017 class is currently ranked 11th in the country.
More names added to the ECU game guest listAlong with Henry and the duo from Scotland County High School, two other prospects are expected to be in Columbia on Saturday afternoon.
Gunner Britton, a 2018 offensive lineman from Conway (S.C.) High School, and Jamie Pettway, a 2019 LB/TE from Westover High School (Albany, Ga.), have indicated they’ll see the Gamecocks.
