Vote here: Last year's record

Question: Do you think we played to the level of our talent last year?

  • Yes. Sadly, two wins is about where our talent level was last year.

  • No way. We were better than a 2-win team!

We had the talent to win 4-5 games, especially if we played a full schedule. We missed out on a few tune up games that would have put us at 4, and I think we had the talent to squeeze out one more win.

Not sure about any more wins, but our defensive players were much better than those beatdowns they took.

Good coaches don't trot out the kicking team when they're down 31-24 with 3:20 remaining in the game.

Good coaches don't face a 4th quarter, down 38-24 with 8:11 remaining and respond with an 18 play drive that eats up 7:23 and ends with a turnover.

Muschamp and his crew did both of those things. I think any of us on this board could have gone out there and called better games than those idiots.

Looking at some of bizarre and/or stupid calls made, I sometime wonder if the coaching staff was trying to get fired.

The results of this poll were interesting to me, and confirmed my thought as well - the team played down, not up. If our coaches can get our talent to play up, even with the losses to the NFL and graduation last year, I think we have a chance of making it to a bowl, which would net Shane SECCOTY consideration, IMO.
