The 4-star quarterback led Fort Dorchester High School (North Charleston, S.C.) to a 55-21 win over Colleton County on Saturday night. oyner (6-2, 206) is ranked by the 247Sports composite as the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2018. Among prospects from the state of South Carolina, he’s listed fourth overall.

In Week 1, Joyner accounted for 4 touchdowns in a 35-21 win at Dorman, the same team he beat in Williams-Brice Stadium as a sophomore, en route to Fort Dorchester’s first football state championship.

Joyner will return to the Columbia area on Friday when Fort Dorchester plays at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo. The matchup, one of the top regular season showdowns in the state, also features Dutch Fork 3-star athlete Bryce Thompson, a former Virginia Tech commitment.

South Carolina landed Joyner’s commitment on Father’s Day, topping North Carolina State. Alabama, Oregon and Virginia Tech were among the other schools that offered.
